Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy at CLA focuses on promoting the health, well-being and unique capacities of participants and staff by enabling people to participate in the every-day activities of life, including safe and healthy employment, self-care (showering, dressing, preparing food); productive activities like education, work, volunteering, contributing to the community; and leisure/social activities such as being part of a community group, engaging in a hobby, and being part of a friendship group.
Our Occupational Therapists undertake the role of providing clinical assessments, developing recommendations and reviews that assist to problem-solve identified barriers for CLA participants.
